Ausklang is a quiet mood mirror for your app usage — built to show you an honest pattern, not to collect your data.
1. What Data Does the App Collect?
Locally Stored Data:
- Mood entries: your brief feeling after app usage
- Usage patterns: values derived from Apple's Screen Time / Android's usage interface, processed entirely on device
- Settings: selected apps, plans, experiments, Ausklang+ status
Data that is NOT collected:
- No user accounts or registration
- No analytics or tracking
- No crash reports to external servers
- No location data
- No advertising IDs
- No personal data
2. Where Is Data Stored?
Exclusively on your device
- Local device storage for entries and settings
- Optional sync exclusively via your own iCloud (iOS) or your own Google Drive (Android) — not via us
- No external servers, no database on our side
3. Permissions
Requested permissions:
- Screen Time / usage data: solely to ask for your mood after you used selected apps. Values are processed on device only.
- Notifications: for the brief mood prompt and the calm weekly recap. At most 3 notifications a day, silent at night.
NO other permissions
- No camera access
- No microphone access
- No location access
4. In-App Purchases
Ausklang is free. Ausklang+ is a one-time purchase (no subscription) for long pattern views, per-app analysis and export. Purchase, billing, refunds and restore are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their privacy terms. We receive no payment or identity data.
5. Data Transfer
No data transfer to us
- No data is sent to our servers (we run none)
- No network traffic other than store purchase handling via Apple/Google and the iCloud / Google Drive sync you enable yourself
- All entries and patterns stay on your device; the app works offline
