Balane Plan decides what to do next. A task list stores what is pending — Balane Plan tells you which task is due now and writes down why: which follow-up work it releases, and when it has to start at the latest. To do that it calculates backwards from the deadline through your projects' dependencies and finds the critical path. A clock runs while you work and separates active work from waiting on other people; after a few weeks it plans with measured durations instead of your estimates. When a deadline moves it works out the consequences before you commit — which projects move with it, and which one could start earlier as a result. Alongside that: a board, an Eisenhower matrix, areas, focus blocks, quick capture from a single sentence, attachments, and a wiki that turns recurring procedures into tasks. No language model involved: the order is calculated, not guessed. For macOS, Windows, iPhone and Android. Currently in development.
