Your privacy matters. ProofShot was built to protect your privacy – not to compromise it.

1. What Data Does the App Collect?

Locally Processed Data:

  • Photos: The before/after images you select are processed exclusively on your device
  • Exported Files: Images and videos are saved to your camera roll

Data that is NOT collected:

  • No user accounts or registration
  • No analytics or tracking
  • No crash reports to external servers
  • No device information
  • No location data
  • No usage statistics shared with third parties
  • No advertising IDs
  • No permanent storage of your original photos within the app
  • No face data is stored — detection is used only for alignment

2. Where is Data Stored?

Exclusively on your device

  • No cloud synchronization
  • No external servers
  • No temporary uploads

3. Permissions

Requested Permissions:

  1. Photo Library: To select before/after images and save results

NO other permissions

  • No network access
  • No camera access
  • No microphone access
  • No file system access outside the app sandbox

4. Face Detection

ProofShot uses Apple's on-device Vision framework for face detection to optimize image alignment. This processing happens entirely on your device. No biometric data is stored or transmitted.

5. Data Transmission

Only Apple Services:

  • App Store: Purchase processing and licensing
  • No data is transmitted to external servers

6. Purchase Information

The only personal data processed in connection with ProofShot is the purchase information through the Apple App Store. This is processed by Apple, not by us. We do not have access to your payment information.

7. Legal Compliance

App Store Privacy Label: "Data not collected"

Justification:

  • All data stays local on device
  • No external data transmission
  • No tracking, no ads, no analytics
  • Face detection is purely local and ephemeral
